AJ Jewell, Real Housewives of Atlanta cast, ex-fiance of ‘Housewife’ KANDI BURRESS dies in the late hours after a party. Reports say that AJ Jewell suffered severe head injuries during the fight at Body Tap, a strip club in Atlanta, and was rushed to Piedmont Hospital, where he later died this morning (Oct. 3rd). No arrests have been made.

Regarding his death, Kandi states, "I'm just in one of those moods where i don't wanna talk, i don't wanna be held & told its gonna be ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone. I could never in a million years imagine this happening. Please pray for AJ's children. That's who I'm the most concerned for."

Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows said, “It appears he received a severe blow to the head because he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot.” Officer Meadows said they that the killing wasn’t planned, but they’ve identified and contacted a star witness whom they hope to give answers on the questions about what really happened and who’s really to blame on the death of AJ Jewell.

AJ Jewell’s engagement to Kandi Buruss caused conflict on the show between Kandi and her mother, and the engagement was called off just a few months ago. Kandi is the legal guardian of AJ’s twin 12 year old daughters (Jewell has six children), and Kandi’s rep has confirmed the news. Such a sad situation, especially with Jewell having children, our condolences go out to his family.

***NEWS UPDATE!!*** police have arrested a man named Fredrick Richardson and charged him with voluntary manslaughter in relation to Jewell’s death. According to reports, Richardson is in the hospital recovering from injuries sustained in the fight, but will be jailed upon his release.
